Promoting Wellbeing And The Power Of Dance
Promoting wellbeing at work is now gathering pace as more employers are seeking to look out for the welfare of their employees.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) highlights that businesses focusing on wellbeing experience a significant uplift in employee morale and engagement, foster healthier and more inclusive workplace cultures, and support better work-life balance.
Investing in employee wellbeing delivers mutual benefits for individuals, organisations, and wider communities.

The Science Behind Dance
Research into dance psychology shows that movement is deeply embedded in human behaviour. Dr. Peter Lovatt describes dance as a fundamental human activity that enhances emotional wellbeing and social connection. Studies by William Brown and colleagues further suggest
that the way we dance is even linked to our genetic makeup. Dance provides a unique opportunity to build relationships, improve brain function, and increase collaboration through joyful physical expression.

Dancing Towards Better Wellbeing
Our Salsa Dance workshops offers a dynamic and inclusive way to promote workplace wellbeing. By learning a new skill together, teams break down traditional workplace barriers and foster greater collaboration within teams. Our wellbeing program focuses on team building, as most members will be new to learning this skill, making them all “in the same boat” regardless of their role or seniority. Our sessions are carefully designed to be fun, accessible, and energising for everyone.

Flexible Format For Your Needs
Our Salsa Dance wellbeing sessions are highly adaptable. Whether integrated into regular team meetings, training programs, away days, or larger corporate events, we tailor each session to align with your specific development goals. This flexibility ensures that your team benefits from a session that feels relevant, engaging, and directly linked to your wider organisational culture. The laughter and feel good factor that results enables team members to relax with each other as well as enhancing existing bonds.

The Impact On People Culture
